Today we went to look at a prospective new dwelling to accommodate our fun crew. It was an interesting house that certainly had its charm but was not well suited for our 'type' of family.
However it did inspire me with many ideas for when we DO move things I would add to my 'new home' that this home did have that I could easily add to any home.
Such as a 'Metal Dinner Bell affixed outside the back door with a Squirrel on top... I need one with a squirrel just like that one, it was fantastic', 'a wooden plank and rope tree swing, it was charming and fun for the kids', 'colorful and fantastic porcelain door knobs on the kitchen cabinets'.
So this house we looked at may not have been a 'fit', but it filled me with great ideas for when we do move forward.
